MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY MARCH 7th 2023 IN THE COMMITTEE ROOM AT THE VILLAGE HALL AT 7.30PM

22/118 Public Forum
A member of the public informed the meeting that during the present financial problems the Café on the lay-by would be open for those struggling to heat their own homes.
22/119 Receipt of declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
None were received.
22/120 Apologies for absence and the reasons given
Apologies were received from Cllr. Gratton& Cllr. Brookes (LCC).
22/121 Draft Minutes of the meeting held on February 7th 2023 to be agreed as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. Houssain an seconded by Cllr. C Cropley that the minutes be accepted.
22/121 Matters Arising
Cllr. J. Cropley has attended a meeting with Cllr. Brookes regarding the collapsing dyke on Old Main Road. Cllr. Brookes has been informed by Highways that some of the problems are the farmers responsibility.
22/122 Matters for the Police
There were no matters raised.
22/123 Correspondence
There was no correspondence received in the period.
22/124 Financial Matters – cheques paid and monies received from February 7th 2023
There were no transactions.
22/125 Outer Dowsing
Cllr. Gratton was not present at the meeting.
22/126 Defibrillator
Cllr. C. Cropley is continue his responsibilities regarding the defibrillator.

The page has regular interactions.
22/128 Grass cutting
The Clerk has issued tender forms.
22/129 The Randolph Road, Old Main Road Dyke
Cllr. J. Cropley has had a site meeting with Cllr. Brookes (LCC).
22/130 Matters raised by Councillors
Cllr. Houssain reported that the plaque for the Jubilee Garden has oxidised.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.15pm.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday April11th 2023 at 7.30pm in the Committee Room at the Parish Hall.
