23/54 PUBLIC FORUM ,
A member of the public asked regarding the progress of the Bus Shelter request , was informed that nothing had been done because the same member of the public stated last meeting that the person who was looking into “bus shelters” “has a conflict of interest”. Again it was confirmed that no conflict of interest will/can occur as the councillor concerned would have no benefit from the erection of a bus shelter (financial or otherwise ).
A member of the public wanted to inform the meeting of his thanks to the “National Grid” for the way they moved all the stops to restore power when his business and home lost power last month . “they went above and beyond ,even restoring his front drive/garden to better than before”
A member of the public informed the meeting of overgrown hedging on the Footpath (Thompson’s lane to the bank )
A member of the public request changing the seating arrangements for the meetings
