MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY FEBRUARY 7TH 202 AT 7.30PM IN THE FOYER OF FOSDYKE VILLAGE HALL

22/104 Public Forum

The dykes along Old Main Road were reported as needing attention.       

Action - Clerk to contact Welland & Deepings rainage Board and LHP if necessary

 

22/105 Receipts of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

None were received.

 

22/105 Apologies for absence and the reasons given

None were received.

 

22/106 Notes of the last meeting held on January 3rd to be approved as the minutes

It was proposed by Cllr. Gratton, seconded by Cllr. Houssain that the minutes be signed.

 

22/107 Matters arising

There were no matters arising.

 

22/108 Matters for the Police

There were no matters for the Police.

 

22/109 Correspondence

Invoices were received from Lives - the Clerk to arrange payment.

Traffic Restriction - Old Main Road, between Old Main Road and Mill Lane.

The clerk attended a meeting with Sutterton and Wigtoft Parish Councils regarding the Coronation of King Charles III, who attend Fourfields School and children from the individual parishes, each parish will pay for their residents.  It was proposed that Fosdyke will pay for those children to the age of 11 who do not attend Fourfields School, Cllr. Houssain to post on the Facebook page.

 

22/210 Financial matters

There were no cheques paid or monies received from Jan 2nd to 2023.

 

22/211 Outer Dousing

Cllr. Gratton attended a meeting recently, but a decision has not yet been made as to the route.

 

22/112 Defibrillator

Cllr. C. Cropley reported that the pads have been received.

 

22/113 Fosdyke Parish Council Facebook page

Cllr. Houssain reported that the site is still frequent visits and likes.

 

22/114 Fosdyke Parish Council Diary 2023

The Clerk asked if the diary could be changed this year so there is a meeting in August but not in September, it was proposed by Cllr. Houssain and seconded by Cllr, Gratton that the diary be amended.

 

22/116 Grass Cutting for 2023                                                                                                             

The Clerk to contact local contractors.

 

22/117 Matters raised by Councillors

There were no matters raised.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx 8.00pm the next meeting will be on March 7th 2023 at 7.30pm in the Foyer of the Village Hall.
