MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 5TH AT 7.30 PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL

104/19 Public Forum

The members of the public asked the Council for its comments regarding a new access on Old Main Road.

The members of the public left the meeting.

 

105/19 Receipts of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

None were received.

 

106/19 Apologies for absence and the reasons given

Apologies were received from Cllr. Brookes (LCC).

 

107/19 Draft minutes of the meeting held on October 1st to be approved as the minutes

It was proposed by Cllr. Heathcote seconded by Cllr. Houssain that the minutes be signed.

 

108/19 Matters arising from the minutes

There were no matters arising.

 

109/19 Matters for the Police

The Clerk to pass Ms. Barton’s comments regarding Wash Road (mentioned in correspondence).

 

110/19 Correspondence

BBC - Development Control – Planning Application B/19/0306 Orchard View Cottage (Formerly White Cottage, Main Road, Algarkirk, PE20 2BG Change of use of residential dwelling to class C2 (care home) – Withdrawn by the applicant/agent.

June Barton – regarding speeding on Wash Road, involving sugar beet lorries and traffic using Wash Road to avoid delays on the A17.

Action this is not a Parish Council matter, the Police to be notified

cschighways@Lincolnshire.gov.uk regarding request for no through road sign on the Waste Green Lane/Smeetons Lane junction.

Lorraine Bush – Parish Liaison Meeting on 28th November.

Action the Clerk to notify the names of those attending

No applications have been received.  The members of the public asked planning queries.

Still ongoing.

 

113/19 Speeding

No complaints have been received this month.

 

114/19 Community garden

Cllr. C. Cropley has been told that the grassed area in front of the village hall belongs to the Parish.

 

115/19 Matters raised by councillors

The Councillors and Clerk are to meet on Dec 19th.

The White Cross Gate sign has been replaced but not the Wash Road one this is propped up against a lamp post.

The Christmas tree lights will be installed on 30th November at 9.00am.

The litter pick has been postponed until the warmer weather.

Cllr. C. Cropley reminded members that the St. John’s Ambulance training is in the village hall on 15th November.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.16pm

 

The next meeting will be on December 3rd, 2019 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
