MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY JUNE 4th 2019 AT

56/19 Public Forum
There were no items for the public forum.
57/19 Receipt of Declarations of Interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
None were received.
58/19 Apologies for Absence and the reasons given
Apologies were received from Cllr. Howden.
59/19 Draft minutes of the meeting held on May 7th to be approved as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley seconded by Cllr. Houssain that the minutes be signed.
60/19 Matters Arising
There were no matters arising.
61/19 Correspondence
Samaritans - Thanks for donation
Denis Glenn (By email) asking if the Council are happy for him to represent Fosdyke Parish Council on the Sir Thomas Middlecott Almshouse Charity. The nominee does not have to be a member of the Council.
Action Fosdyke Parish Council are happy for Mr. Glenn to continue, the Clerk to confirm the decision with the Clerk to the Charity
Cllr. Howden details of the proposed location for passive signs.

62/19 Financial Matters
No Financial activity has taken place from May 7th, 2019.
63/19 Information Boards
Denis Glenn is still involved with the information boards, he will confirm the pictures when he returns from holiday, the pictures for the fens board are proving more difficult.
Action Mr. Glenn to visit the Spalding Company to see if it’s possible to reproduce the Surfleet Fens board for Fosdyke.
64/19 Speeding
The Clerk has completed the application for positioning the 30mph passive signs, once the signs are delivered, they will be erected as soon as possible.
65/19 Speeding on the A17
Questions have been asked about the Speed Camera on the bridge, it has been reported from LCC that all speed cameras are to be updated.
65/19 Matters raised by Councillors
Cllr. C. Cropley reported a hedge overhanging the footpath on Old Main Road, making it difficult when walking with a buggy.
Cllr. C. Cropley reported that he is looking into the possibility of starting a Village Orchard on the grass outside the Village Hall, this would require a committee to be formed.
Thanks, were given to Cllr. C. Cropley for his work on the Notice Board.
66/19 To go into closed session
After discussion it was proposed by Cllr. Houssain seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that Martin Heathcote be co-opted to Fosdyke Parish Council.
Action the Clerk to inform Mr. Heathcote
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.00pm, the next meeting will be on Tuesday July 2nd 2019 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Committee Room.
