MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PRISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 1ST 2019 IN THE VILLAGE HALL

91/19 Public Forum

A presentation was given regarding the aims of Planning Application B/19/0306 – change of use from residential dwelling to class C2 (care home) at Orchard View Cottage (formerly White Cottage) Main Road, Algarkirk, Boston, PE20 2BG.  Although in Algarkirk it is presented to Fosdyke Parish Council because of the proximity to Fosdyke.

The 2 members of the public left the meeting.

 

92/19 Receipt of declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

Cllr. Cropley declared an interest in item 99/19 Planning Application B19/0306 he has objected to the application as a resident.

 

93/19 Apologies for absence and the reasons given

Apologies were received from Cllr. Brookes and the reason accepted.

 

94/19 Draft minutes of the meeting held on September 3rd to be approved as the minutes

It was proposed by Cllr. Howden seconded by Cllr. Houssain that the minutes be signed.

 

95/19 Matters arising from the meeting on September 3rd 2019

None were received.

 

96/19 Matters for the Police

The Police were not present and there were no matters for the Police.

NatWest bank statement for current account as at 5th September 2019 - £7,709.18.

Cllr. Howden - updated contact details.

Flood research survey.

September Parish Council Newsletter - forwarded to all Councillors.

Denis Glenn - Information Boards are ongoing.

LCC - Adoption of the Lincolnshire County Council Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)2019 on 13th September 2019 – This replaces the Councils previous (SCI)2014.

The Chairman moved 99/19 to the public Forum for the item to be openly discussed.

The installation of passive 30mph signs appears to be working.

 

102/19 Community Garden

Cllr. C. Cropley is hoping for clarification on the owner of the land outside the Village Hall.

 

103/19 Matters Raised by Councillors

Cllr. Heathcote asked if it would be possible to have a no through road sign at the junction of Waste Green Lane and Smeetons Lane.

Action the Clerk to contact Highways

 

Cllr. C. Cropley reported a campaign by St. Johns Ambulance called restart a heart.

Action it was proposed by Cllr. Howden seconded by Cllr. Houssain that training be arranged for Fosdyke

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.40pm.

 

The next meeting will be at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Committee Room on November 5th 2019.
