MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY APRIL 2ND 2019 AT

28/19 Public Forum

There were no matters for the public forum.

 

29/19 Receipt of Declarations on interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

None were received.

 

30/19 Apologies for absence and the reasons given

None were received.

 

31/19 Draft Minutes of the meeting held on February 5th 2019 to be approved as the minutes

It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn seconded by Cllr. Pitt that with one amendment the minutes be signed.

27/19 to be amended to have street lights reversed to all night lights.

 

32/19 Matters Arising

The lights on Old main Road and Mill Lane have been repaired.

No response has been received from LHP regarding the property on Randolph Road who it appears are now burning wood and revving up vehicles.

 

33/19 Matters for the Police

Speeding was reported on Wash Road.

 

34/19 Correspondence

BBC – Planning – B/18/0434 - the application is going to appeal – the Council have submitted their comments.

Nigel Hall - The street lights have been repaired.

36/19 Information Boards

Cllr. Glenn has been in touch with the local company who are producing the boards.

 

37/19 Speeding

Has been reported on Wash Road.

 

38/19 Fosdyke Parish Notice Board

As the weather is improving, Cllr. C. Cropley expects to start work shortly.

 

39/19 Speeding on the A17

Speeding on the A17 has been reported, Cllr. Brookes has received a complaint about speeding traffic overtaking lorries/ tractors at the Old Main Road /A17 junction coming from Sutterton.

Cllr. Brookes was also made aware of the problems faced by vehicles coming from the bridge turning right into Wash Road and Old Main Road.

 

40/19 Planning B/19/0110 Approval of reserved matters (part existing access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) following outline approval B/18/0142 for the erection of single storey steel framed storage building at land opposite Fosdyke Yacht, Moulton

Washway, Fosdyke Bridge PE20 2DB 

Fosdyke Parish Council discussed the above application and has no objections.

 

41/19 Matters Raised by Councillors

Cllr. J. Cropley thanked Cllr. Glenn and Cllr. Pitt who are not seeking re-election.  Cllr. Glenn has been a member of Fosdyke Parish Council for 40 years and Cllr. Pitt has been a member for 16 years.  Both will be sorely missed.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.03 pm.  The next meeting will be on May 7th 2019 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Committee Room.
