There were no items for the Public Forum (no members of the public were present).

 

77/17  Apologies for absence and the reasons given

Apologies were received from Cllr. Spencer and Cllr. Cooper.

 

78/17 Declarations of Interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, and to consider any written requests for dispensation in relation to members Disclosable pecuniary interests.

None were received.

 

79/17 Draft minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday September 5th 2017 to be approved as the minutes.

It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr. Pitt that the minutes be signed as a true record.

There were no matters arising.

 

81/17 Matters for the Police

There were no matters for the Police.

 

82/17 Correspondence

National Lottery Fund – The application for the defibrillator has been granted, funds will be transferred to the Council’s account shortly. LCC – Advance Notification of road improvements.

Nat West – Statement  on current account as at 05.09.17.

BBC –     Planning Application B/17/0364 Demolition of existing garages and erection of one dwelling         Together with new vehicular access for existing dwelling at 29, Old Main Road, Fosdyke. Cllr’s discussed the application and have no objections.

LALC –  Annual General Meeting and Conference 2017 Cranwell Village Hall 17.10.17 Cllr’s Glenn  and Cllr. C. Cropley to attend.

84/17 Defibrillator

Cllr. C. Cropley reported on his discussions with the Community Heartbeat Trust regarding the most appropriate defibrillator for Fosdyke. It was resolved that Cllr.C. Cropley arrange for the purchase of this machine and it’s installation.

 

85/17 Information Boards at Fosdyke Bridge.

Discussion took place regarding the boards, the Clerk to try and obtain details.

 

85/17 Amenity Grass Cutting

Discussion took place regarding the frequency of the cuts it was agreed that the grassed area outside the village hall be cut 14 times a year, the verges in Snaith avenue also to be cut 14 times, the layby on the A17 be cut 7 times during the season.

The Clerk is to issue the tender forms.

 

86/17 Pruning of the Xmas Tree

Cllr. Glenn is to arrange with John Ulyatt

 

87/17 Items for discussion at a future meeting.

The Pruning of the Xmas Tree is to be on the November Agenda. The Information Boards will also be carried forward.
