MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY JULY 5TH

56/17Apologies for absence and the reasons given

Apologies were received and the reasons given were accepted from Cllr. J, Cropley and Cllr. C. Cropley Cllr. M. Brookes, Cllr. M. Cooper & Cllr. A. Spencer.

Apologies were also received from PCSO Williams

 

57/17 The Minutes

The draft minutes of the meeting held on June 6th 2017 were read and agreed, it was proposed by Cllr. Mrs. Wright and seconded by Cllr. Pitt that the minutes be signed as a true record.

 

58/17 Matters Arising

The proposed village walk by Cllr’s J. Cropley and Cllr. Pitt was deemed not necessary as the pot holes were filled a few days after the June meeting

 

59/17 Matters for the Police

PCSO Neil Williams reported by telephone the theft of oil from Waste Green Lane and complaints received regarding the trial bikes.

61/17 Defibrillator

The Village Hall has given permission for the Defibrillator to be installed on the village Hall wall. The Clerk is waiting for more clarification on the costs involved.

 

62/17 Information Boards at Fosdyke Bridge.

It is thought that the information boards were installed in the early 1990’s, they are now in need of serious refurbishment,and enquiries are to be made.

 

63/17 Grass Cutting

It was proposed by Cllr. Mrs. Wright seconded by Cllr. Pitt that the Grass cutting on the A17 Layby and in Snaith Avenue be awarded to KE Dawson & Sons Ltd.,

 

64/17 Items for inclusion at a future meeting

It was agreed to include the Defibrillator, The Information Boards, the Pruning of the Xmas tree.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.15pm

The next meeting will be on Tuesday September 5th 2017 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Committee Room.
