001/17 Public Forum
Mr. Martin was recording.
The Council were thanked for the Christmas tree.
002/17 Apologies for absence and the reasons given.
Apologies were received from Cllr. Spencer (BBC) and the Police.
003/17 Receipt of Declarations on interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
None were given.
004/17 The Notes of the meeting held on December 6th 2016 were read and agreed, it was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr. Pitt that the notes be recorded as the Minutes.
005/17 Matters Arising.
The salt bin will be collected from Cllr. Cropley’s yard on Thursday by Cllr. Glenn and will be put in place and filled on Saturday when the Christmas lights are removed.
Geoff’s seat has been repaired but is in need of varnishing.
006/17 Matters for the Police
There were no matters for the Police.
007/17 Correspondence
LALC – Details of the training available to be issued to members it was proposed by Cllr. Pitt and seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Wright that Fosdyke take part in the training scheme – cheque signed for £65.00.
BBC – Lincolnshire Energy Switch Scheme – poster to be displayed.
Matt Warman MP – upcoming Surgery dates – poster to be displayed.
Citizens Advice –Mid Lincolnshire – request for donations.
Martin Potts – BBC – by email concerning an unsafe memorial in the Churchyard – Cllr’s are to investigate.
LCC – Street lighting – regarding details about repairing reported faults and the programme for making changes to street lighting in Lincs. The programme to reach the Boston area by March 31st 2017.
LCC – Highway Grass Cutting – Fosdyke Parish Council to obtain quotes for the amenity cutting outside the village hall.
BBC – Fosdyke Parish Precept 2017/18.The Grant this year is reduced to £74.44, this is the final year of the Council Tax Support Grant.
008/17 Financial Matters

009/17 Diary Dates for 2017
The diary dates for 2017 were proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley and seconded by Cllr. Glenn, 10 planned meetings will be held in 2017. 010/17 Precept 2017/18
It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr.Pitt that Fosdyke Parish Council accepts the proposed budget and precept for £9,800 – The Clerk to complete the relevant form.
011/17 Donations
It was proposed by Cllr.C. Cropley and seconded by Cllr. Glenn that Fosdyke Parish Council makes donations of £500 to Fosdyke PCC,
Fosdyke Playing Field Committee and the Village Hall Committee.
£50 is donated to the Sutterton Surgery Patient Participation Group.
£35 to be donated to Citizens Advice, Age Concern, Cruise Bereavement and Butterfly Hospice Trust.
012/17 Items for discussion at a future meeting.
The quotes for the amenity grass cutting will be discussed.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.07pm the next meeting will be on Tuesday February 7th 2017 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Committee Room
