MINUTES OF FOSDYKE ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY MAY 2ND 2017

32/17 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Chairman
It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr. Pitt that Cllr. J. Cropley continue as Chairman.
Cllr. J. Cropley accepted.
33/17 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Vice- Chairman
It was proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley and seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Wright that Cllr. Glenn continues as Vice-Chairman. Cllr. Glenn accepted. 34/17 Clerks Report Attached.
35/17 Apologies for absence and the reasons given
Apologies were received from Cllr. Brookes and Cllr. Spencer.
36/17 Receipt of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
None were given.
37/17 The Minutes
The notes of the meeting held on April 4th 2017 were read and agreed, it was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the minutes be signed.
38/17 Matters Arising
Cllr. J. Cropley asked about No. 7, Randolph Road – the Clerk replied that Mayflower is aware of the situation.
39/17 Matters for the Police
PCSO Williams reported a dwelling burglary from Bell Lane 24/04/17 and the theft of heating oil from Algarkirk.
PCSO Williams left the meeting.
40/17 Correspondence
LCC - Advance notification of Road Improvements Scheme A17/A151 Peppermint
Junction.
LALC - the Clerk to complete to request electronic copies of the LALC newsletter.
LCC - Highway Grass Cutting
LCC - Temporary Road Closure Boston & South Holland Area – Mandike Road

LCC - methods of communication regarding highways faults and other items.

42/17 Items for discussion at a future meeting
Speeding through the village – The Clerk to write to The Playing Field Committee asking that the football players be asked to abide by the speed limit when arriving at or leaving football matches. Cllr. Pitt asked if fly tipping on the junction of Mill Lane could be reported, the Clerk replied that she believed that as it was on private land it was the landowners responsibility.
43/17 To go into closed session to discuss the Amenity grass cutting
It was proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley seconded by Cllr. Mrs. T. Wright that the Council go into closed session.
One tender has been received it was agreed to retender to see if more contractors were interested.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.19pm
The next meeting will be on Tuesday June 6th at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Committee Room.
