MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY JULY 5TH 2022 IN THE VILLAGE HALL FOYER AT 7.30 PM

22/31 Public Forum

The Defibrillator was raised.

To be discussed as an Agenda item

 

22/32 Receipts of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

None were received.

 

22/33 Apologies for attendance and the reasons given

Apologies were received from Cllr. Brookes (LCC).

 

22/34 Draft minutes of the meeting held on June 7th 2022 to be agreed as the minutes

With one amendment be made that 22/22 should read that the footpath on that side of road be continued past the development.

It was proposed by Cllr. Heathcote and seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the minutes be signed.

There were no matters arising.

None were received.

None was received.

 

22/38 Financial matters

Cheques paid and monies received from June 7th 2022

 

22/39 Planning

B/22/0244 Change of use from Farmyard to Touring Caravan and Storage Facility at Suffolk House, Old Inn Lane, PE20 2DE

The Council discussed the application and has no objection

 

B/22//0227 Change of use from building ancillary to main dwelling to a holiday let (works already started/completed at White Cross Farm, Mill Lane, Fosdyke PE20 2BL)

The Council discussed the application and has no objections.

 

22/40 The Queens Platinum Jubilee

The vandalism on the patio tables and benches was discussed, the culprits are not known.

 

22/41 Defibrillator

Cllr. C. Cropley reported that Lives had supplied a temporary battery the Defibrillator is now functioning again, but we are still waiting for the pads.

 

22/42 The Parish Council Facebook page - received 374 views in the last 28 days has had 114 with 595 views of the Jubilee Garden photo’s.

 

22/43 The Horse Society signs

The item was discussed.

Action it was agreed that the Council write to the resident who brought the signs to the attention of the Council, that the item will be removed from the Agenda after the October Meeting

No matters were raised.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.54pm.  The Clerk reminded the meeting that the next meeting will be on September 6th 2022 at 7.30pm in the Foyer of the Village Hall.
