Minutes of Fosdyke Parish council meeting held on Wednesday June 7th, 2022, at 7.30pm

22/07                   Public Forum

The Chairman opened the meeting by thanking All involved in creating the QE11 Jubilee Garden CllrHeathcote Cllr. Houssain Cllr Hussain  Jenny & Phoebe and Noel the oldest and youngest resident, Khalid Houssain who stepped in at the last moment as the oldest Resident was taken ill

The public asked about the Defibrillator

 

22/17 Receipt of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act

None were received.

 

222/18 Apologies for absence and the reasons given

Apologies were received from Cllr. Cooper (BBC)

22/19 Draft minutes of the meeting held on May 3rd 2022 to be agreed as the minutes it was proposed by  Cllr C.  Cropley seconded by Cllr. Heathcote that the minutes be signed

 

22/20Matters Arising

CLlr. C. Cropley informed that the batteries are now available but for the defibrillator pads have still not been received. Thanks were sent to Cllr’s Heathcote & Cllr, Houssain and the Clerk was also asked to thank the gentleman who opened the garden

The matter was discussed and the Council has concerns and suggested that the footpath be extended past the development

BBC Planning Application /22B22/204 Extension, Alteration and Renovation of existing Public House at the Ship Inn, Moulton Washway, Fosdyke Bridge, PE12 6LH/0204

The application was discussed, and the Council has no objection

The Council discussed the application and has no objections

 

B/22/0204 Extension, Alteration and Renovation of existing PUBLIC House at the Shio Inn, Moulton  Washway, Fosdyke  Bridge, Spalding, PE12 6LH

The Council discussed the application and has no objections.

 

22/23To Agree the Annual Governance Report  it was proposed by By Cllr. Heathcote seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the Agar be signed.

 

24/22 To Agree the Annual Accounts  for 2021-2022It was proposed by Cllr. Houssain and seconded by Cllr. J. Cropley that the Accounts be signed.

The relevant forms were signed by the Chairman and the Clerk.

 

22/24 Financial matters -cheques paid and monies received from May 3rd 2022

It was proposed by Cllr. Heathcote  and seconded by Cllr.  C. Cropley that the payments be made

 

22/25 The Queens Platinum Jubilee

Thanks were given to Khalid Houssain and Isabell who opened the garden, and to all the people that attended the opening.

It was proposed that the Clerk contact the Village Hall Committee regarding placing a water but.

 

22/26 Fosdyke Parish Council Facebook page

Cllr.Houssain reported 1 post regarding the garden ,600 views, 113 Followers with 56 followers in the last 28 days

 

22/27 Horse Signs – none were received

 

22/28 Fosdyke Playing Field Committee

It was proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley seconded by Cllr Houssain that a donation of £1000 Be made to the Playing Field Committee

 

22/29 Fosdyke Social Club

It was reported that membership is increasing,and that on the afternoon of the opening of the Platinum Garden, the Social club had over 100 people picnicking on the field ,

they have several events planned in the near future including  the Craft events which are well attended

 

22/30 Matters Raised by C0uncillors

 

No matters were raised by Cllr’s

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.05pm, the next meeting will be on Tuesday July 5th 2022 at 7.30pm in the Foyer of the Village Hall
