MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 1ST 2022 AT 7.30PM IN THE FOYER OF THE VILLAGE HALL, FOSDYKE,

111/21 Public Forum
The horse signs were again raised the Clerk was asked if she had a printer if so, could she copy the picture of the proposed sign. Cllr. Brookes reminded those present that the signs would not be permanent and could only be in site for a short time, the proposed positions of the signs have still not been presented to the Council for their approval.
The Council were made aware of a suggestion from those involved with the Monday Coffee morning that they present 2 picnic tables to the village to mark the Queens Diamond Jubilee
Action the tables to be included when the Clerk applies to Highways.

Cllr proposed it. C. Cropley and seconded by Cllr Howden that the minutes be signed.

The Police were not present, and no matters were reported.

Action the Clerk to mail the resident explaining that the matter is now in the hands of LCC Highways
A resident regarding the Picnic tables
Action Once the Clerk receives the plans regarding the proposed Garden the Clerk will forward to LCC for permission.
LALC – the cost for joining for the current year
Action it was proposed by Cllr.Heathcote seconded by Cllr. Houssain that Fosdyke parish Council continue to be members.
Financial Matters -cheques paid and monies received from January 4th, 2022

Cllr. C. Cropley to get confirmation of the delivery date.
119/21The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Cllr. Houssain reported on the plans for the garden which will include the picnic tables donated by the coffee mornings.
Action Cllr. Houssain to detail the plans and forward to the Clerk who can then submit to Highways to apply for permission

Cllr. Houssain reported 98 likes, & 35 users in the last 30 days.
120/21 To Discuss the British Horse Society signs.
The item was discussed in the Public Forum horse people were present, but the parish Council Are still waiting for the requested positioning of the signs, so that the Council can discuss the positions before giving their consent.
121/21 Fosdyke Playing Field Social Club Committee
The situation was discussed. The Treasurer and the Chairman present at the meeting reported on the effort that has gone into making the club a pleasant place to visit are to send the Clerk details of how things are progressing and the Committee’s plans The chairman informed them that they have the backing of the Parish Council.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 20.25pm
The next meeting will be on Tuesday March 1st at 7.30pm in the foyer of the Village Hall
