MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY MAY 1ST 2018 AT

035/18 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Chairman
Cllr. Glenn proposed Cllr. J. Cropley this was seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley, Cllr. J. Cropley accepted.
036/18 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Vice-Chairman
Cllr. C. Cropley proposed Cllr. Glenn this was seconded by Cllr. J. Cropley, Cllr. Glenn accepted.
37/18 Clerk Report Attached.
38/18 Receipt of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
one were received.
039/18 Apologies for absence and the reasons given
Apologies were received from Cllr. Brookes.
040/18 Draft minutes of the meeting held on April 3rd to be approved as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the minutes be approved.
041/18 Matters Arising
Cllr. Glenn reported that LCC have proposed that parishes who would like to have the lights switched on again could pay a charge of £120.00 per light.
The clerk and either Cllr. J. Cropley or Cllr. C. Cropley will be attending the parish liaison meeting at the Borough on May 24th.
042/18 Matters for the Police
Cllr. J. Cropley reported that travellers had again been to their yard.
043/18 Correspondence
Information Commissioner’s Office, Fosdyke Parish Council has been registered, the direct debit mandate to be completed.
Terry Martin (by email) will no longer be involved with Fosdyke magazine after the July issue. The Clerk to place an advert in the notice board and to arrange for it to be displayed on the web-site.
Stuart Moore (by email) regarding the draining of the ditches around The Bowls Club. The Clerk to reply asking Mr. Moore to arrange a site meeting.
BBC - Register of Electors update.
044/18 Financial Matters.
It was proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley, seconded by Cllr. Glenn that the annual governance statement be signed.

045/18 Speeding
Cllr. Glenn reported comments about the speeding of players leaving the playing field. The 30mph signs are not visible to people leaving the playing field, it was decided that the Clerk will contact Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership (LRSP) regarding 30mph passive signs.
046/18 Items for discussion at a future meeting.
The information boards will continue to be an agenda item, it was also agreed that Fosdyke magazine be discussed.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.45pm. The next meeting will be on June 5th 2018 at 7.30pm in the Meeting Room at the Village Hall.
