 MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY APRIL 3RD, 2018 AT

There were no members of the public present

 

025/18 Apologies for absence and the reasons given

Apologies were received from Cllr. Pitt and Cllr. Spencer.

 

026/18 Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, and to consider any written request for dispensation to members Disclosable pecuniary interests.

None were received.

 

027/18 Draft minutes of the meeting held on February 6th, 2018 to be approved as the minutes.

It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the minutes be approved as a true record.

 

028/18 Matters Arising

The only matter arising will be dealt with in correspondence.

Cllr. J. Cropley asked about the new road markings at the Sutterton roundabout – the Clerk to contact Andy Wharff at Highways.

 

029/18 Matters for the Police 

PCSO Williams informed there had been no crimes have been reported.

Cllr. J. Cropley reported travellers in his yard, it was also reported that the Police had entered a bungalow on Old Main Road following reports from a neighbour that an elderly lady had not been seen.

PCSO Williams left the meeting at approx. 7.35pm.

 

030/18 Correspondence.

By email a letter asking for answers to a planning matter, the information was checked on the Clerks behalf by Cllr. Glenn. 

Nat West bank statement Current Account on 02.02.18 £9,176.93.

Nat West bank statement Current Account on 05.03.18 £9,022.64.

Sutterton Surgery Patient Participation Group – thank you for donation.

BBC – invoice for Footway lights.

Planning at Boston Borough Council - the move to electronic consultations the charges for copies now to be introduced in April 2019.

LCC – Highways Temporary Road Closure Bells Lane (Old Main Road to Whitecross gate) Lincs. Police and Crime Commissioner – communications.

LCC – Parish Council Highway Grass Cutting Agreement.  It was agreed that the Clerk sign the agreement.

Mrs. B. Williamson – complaining about the state of Fosdyke Cemetery - the Clerk to pass the comments on to Matt Fisher at BBC.

Lorraine Bush – training for the Data Protection rules that are changing.

 

031/18 Financial Matters

A payment of £131.01 was paid for expenses.

 

032/18 Defibrillator

Cllr. C. Cropley reported that the recent defibrillator training conducted by LIVES was attended by 18 people. 

Cllr. C. Cropley asked that defibrillator be taken off the May agenda.

 

033/18 Information Boards

An estimate has been received for installing the boards and to purchase 2 more boards.  It was agreed that the Clerk contact Maddy Eyre at the Borough regarding grant possibilities.

 

034/18 Items for discussion at a future meeting.

The information Boards will remain an agenda item.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 7.58pm.  The next meeting will be on Tuesday May 1st 2018 at 7.30 in the Village Hall, Meeting Room.
