MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON JUNE 1ST 2021 IN THE VILLAGE HALL FOSDYKE

23/21 Public Forum
There were no members of the public present.
24/21 Receipts of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
None were received.
25/21 Apologies for absence and the reasons given
Apologies were received from Cllr. Cooper.
26/21 Draft Minutes of the meeting held on May 18th to be approved as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. Heathcote seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the minutes be signed.
27/21 Matters Arising
The Chairman met with Cllr. Howden to explain about the motorcycles using the bank and the area’s involved.
28/21 Matters for the Police
The email received last month regarding the motor cyclists was forwarded to the Police.
29/21 Correspondence
BBC/Planning B/21/0244 Extension to existing building to create annexe at Graves Farm, Smeetons Lane, Fosdyke.
Members discussed the application, they were concerned that a precedent could be set as there is several similar buildings in the area.
BBC – Register of Electors – Notice of Alteration (June 2021).
Zurich Insurance – The Renewal is due .
ACTION - The Clerk to query the increase
Fosdyke PCC – following The Chairman’s phone call to Mr. Tofts regarding Remembrance services in Fosdyke.
ACTION - The Clerk to reply to the letter received to arrange a joint meeting to discuss the service
30/21 Financial Matters – Cheques paid and monies received from May 18th 2021
It was proposed by Cllr. Houssain seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the payment be made
31/21 Annual Governance and Statement of Accounts
It was proposed by Cllr Houssain seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the Annual Governance be signed.
32/21 It was proposed by Cllr.Houssain seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the Exemption Certificate be signed
33/21 Notice Board
Is still ongoing it is hoped that members will soon be able to travel to pick a new Notice Board.

35/21 Matters Raised by Cllr’s
Cllr. J. Cropley spoke to members about protocol and procedures regarding correspondence and meetings, reminding all that failure to follow the protocol and procedures can lead the individual councillor open to the possibility of prosecution, also decisions made during a minuted meeting and all correspondence are to administered only by the Clerk.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.30pm
The next meeting will be on July 6th 2021 at 7.45pm in the Main Hall at the Village Hall
