MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY MAY 18th, 2021 AT 7.45PM IN THE MAIN HALL, VILLAGE HALL, FOSDYKE

12/21 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Chairman
It was proposed by Cllr. Houssain and seconded by Cllr. Heathcote that Cllr. J. Cropley remains as Chairman.
13/21 To receive nominations for and to appoint a Vice-Chairman
It was proposed by Cllr. Houssain and seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that Cllr. Howden be appointed Vice-Chairman.

18/21 Draft Minutes of the Meeting held on April 6th, 2021 to be approved as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley seconded by Cllr. Heathcote that the minutes be signed.

Cllr. Brookes Citizens Advice – EU Settlement Scheme
A Resident regarding overhanging hedges at 47, Old Main Road and evergreens overhanging the A17 side of their yard.
Action Cllr. J. Cropley checked 47 Old Main following the meeting and it had been trimmed
Forwarded by Cllr. Brookes from Lincs Highways – Horse Warning Sign Request
Action Cllr. Howden is to visit the resident who made the request and explain the situation
A resident regarding motorcycles racing along the Boston South side of the Riverbank
Cllrs to forward their thoughts to the Clerk
A resident by email regarding the Children’s Play Area
Action the Clerk contacted Cllr. C. Cropley who represents Fosdyke Parish Council on the Playing Field Committee Cllr. C. Cropley contacted the Playing Field Chairman regarding the email and is to arrange a work party

Due to the delay in the date May meeting the Clerk asked if members were happy to have the June meeting on June 1st Cllr’s agreed unanimously.
There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.15pm.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday June 1st, 2021 at 7.45pm in the Main Hall at the Village Hall
