MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD VIA ZOOM 0n January 12th 2021

No members of the public applied to attend or attended the meeting (zoom)

Cllr. Cropley welcomed all to the meeting.

 

67/20 Receipts of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

None were received.

 

68/20 Apologies for absence and the reasons given

Apologies were received from Cllr, Cooper, Cllr. Brookes and the Police.

 

69/20 Draft Minutes to be agreed as the minutes

It was proposed by Cllr. Heathcote seconded by Cllr. Houssain that the minutes be signed.

72/20 Correspondence

Via Email Lorraine Bush – BBC forwarded an email received querying the December Meeting of Fosdyke Parish Council.

Lorraine Bush – BBC Confirmation that Fosdyke Parish Council was entitled to meet face to face provided all the social distancing requirements had been met.

Becky Shinn - BBC regarding the cost of the 2 bins £530.00.

Mrs. E. Martin by letter and email regarding the positioning of the dog waste bins.

Terry Martin by letter and email regarding the positioning of the dog waste bins.

Samaritans regarding change of Branch Director.

Action Clerk to inform that Fosdyke will continue with the scheme

Action It was proposed by Cllr. C. Cropley seconded by Cllr. Houssain that Fosdyke Parish Council continue to cut the amenity grass cutting

74/20 Fosdyke Parish Precept 2021-2022

After discussion it was proposed by Cllr. Heathcote seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the Precept be increased by £600.00.

Action - Clerk to complete the paperwork

 

75/20 Siting of the new Dog Waste bins

Discussion took place, all Councillors having visited the site queried by Mr & Mrs Martin.  It was agreed that the Dog bin in Whitecross Gate was in a legal and safe position.  

Action - Clerk to reply to Mr & Mrs. Martin

 

76/20 Social Media Policy

It was proposed by Cllr. Houssain seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that Fosdyke Parish Council adopt the Social Media Policy.

 

77/20 Matters Raised by Cllr’s

Cllr. Houssain raised the matter of that the Council become involved in the Rembrance Day plans.  It was proposed that discussions take place.  Cllr. J. Cropley to contact the Rural Dean.

Cllr. Howden suggested that Fosdyke Parish Council should have a face book page.

Action - Cllr’s Houssain and Howden to produce a plan for the February meeting

Cllr. C. Cropley reported that the Notice Board needs replacing

Cllr. C. Cropley suggested that Fosdyke PC look into purchasing a laptop.

Cllr. J. Cropley reported that he had checked the design of B/20/0457, he thanked all concerned with the xmas tree and the lights.  Mr. Ulyatt for bringing his teleporter to put the lights on the tree and to remove them and expressed his thanks that the lights had not been touched.

 

There being no further the meeting closed at 8.31pm.
