MINUTES OF A MEETING OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 1ST 2016

AT 7.30PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE ROOM.

Public Forum

Mr. Martin informed the meeting that he was recording.

The behaviour of a few people are reported to be making life difficult for others, it was agreed that the Clerk would contact the Police.

Cllr. Glenn remembers a meeting organised by the Parish Council held several years ago when a similar situation arose, this was attended by several organisations.

 

089/16 Apologies for absence and the reasons given.

Apologies were received from Cllr. C. Cropley and Cllr. Brookes LCC

 

090/16 Receipt of Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

None were given

 

091/16 The notes of the meeting held on October 4th were read agreed it was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Wright that they be recorded as the minutes.

BBC – Planning Application B/16/0374 Change of use of barn and ménage to equine business use (Class D2) and agricultural land to paddocks for uses ancillary to the occupation of the dwelling house (private use) at Sunset Farm, Mill Lane, Fosdyke PE20 2BL

BBC – Council Tax Support Grant 2017/18

Quick Groundworks Ltd.,

BBC – Development Control, Application decision for Ren Cottage, Old Inn Lane, Favourable with conditions.

Cllr. C. Cropley report on the overhanging tress in the village.

 

095/16 Financial Matters 

No Financial matters have taken place since the October Meeting.

 

096/16 Fosdyke Cemetery Gates & Shed.

We are still waiting for a response from BBC regarding the shed, the clerk and Cllr. Glenn have checked the gates and they appear to be working.

 

097/16 Christmas tree

It was agreed to decorate the tree on November 26th and remove the decorations on January 7th 2017. Cllr. Glenn to contact Mr. Ulyatt for the use of his teleporter.

 

098/16 Draft Budget

Cllr. Glenn presented a draft budget, to Cllr’s and asked for their thoughts at the December Meeting.

 

099/16 Boston Borough Council Transformation Programme

The Clerk has not received any further correspondence from BBC regarding the transformation programme.

 

100/16 Items for discussion at a future Meeting

It was suggested that Speeding Issues should be an Agenda item at the December Meeting.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.10pm

The next meeting will be on Tuesday December 6th 2016 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Committee Room.
