MINUTES OF A MEETING OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON TUESDAY FEBRUARY 2nd 2016

AT 7.30PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE ROOM.

 

Public Forum

There were 3 members of the public present, the mud down Puttock Gate, and the fly tipping at the end of Bell were discussed.

012/16 Receipt of Declarations of Interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

 

013/16 Minutes         

It was proposed by Cllr. J. Cropley and seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that the minutes be signed as a true record.

 

014/16 Matters Arising

The Clerk has heard nothing from LCC regarding the siting of the second grit bin.

Cllr. Brookes informed the meeting that he has spoken with Chris Chandler Highway Officer regarding Green Lane, they will return when the weather improves – the issue appears to be with a farmer using the footpath to turn.

Cllr. Glenn attended the Sutterton presentation on the SELLP there is no development land earmarked in Fosdyke

 

015/16 Nomination for a representative on the Thomas Middlecott Exhibition Foundation

The previous representative had been Cllr. Yates who had now left the Council and the village. It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that Cllr. Pitt be nominated the Clerk to contact the Exhibition Foundation.

BBC – Planning Application B/16/0020 Retrospective Planning Permission for change of use of existing land at Fosdyke Yacht Haven

 

017/16 Training

It was proposed by Cllr. Glenn and seconded by Cllr. J. Cropley that Fosdyke join the LALC scheme in April.

 

018/16 Communications It was proposed by Cllr. J. Cropley seconded by Cllr. C. Cropley that Fosdyke Parish Council Adopt the Resolution.

‘The Parish Council resolves to delegate to the Clerk, in consultation with the Chairman and or Vice Chairman, to provide clarification to any inaccuracies following the publication of any item pertaining to the Parish Council. This clarification to be published on the Parish Council website and Notice Board’

 

019/16 The Queens 90th Birthday Party

Cllr. Glenn reported, The date of the Queen’s actual 90th birthday on Thursday 21st April was not a good night for local celebrations. The day of the street party in the Mall of Sunday 12th June would be a better option for local celebrations. It was agreed to discuss further at the April meeting.

Clerk’s half year salary paid.
