MINUTES OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 16TH JANUARY 2024

No Public Forum. A statement from the Chairman Cllr J. Cropley was read out. (Printed out on a separate sheet). Cllr J Cropley said that we are in a transitional period and the council is asking for the patience of the community at this time as the councillors are gathering relevant information and transferring records from the last Parish Clerk Mrs Depear over to the new Clerk. Any contact made to the last Clerk from 19/11/23 has been lost. Cllr J Cropley thanked everyone for their understanding.

There was a closed session at the end of this meeting.

Cllr C Cropley said that the streetlight at Number 8 Bell Lane Fosdyke, Puttock Gate is not working. Cllr C Cropley asked the Clerk to contact Boston Borough Council to arrange for the repair.

Cllr Hussain said the Facebook page has 169 followers. Today’s meeting attracted 69 people online.

 

23/69 MATTERS RAISED BY THE COUNCILLORS

Cllr Hussain would like additional information about the upcoming D Day 80th anniversary. The Clerk said that she will forward her the information pack that has been received from LALC so that Cllr Hussain can give out this information to local village groups so they can participate and organise events for the community.

 

23/70 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

The next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday the 6th of February 2024 at 19:30 PM in the Village Hall.
