MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF FOSDYKE PARISH COUNCILHELD ON TUESDAY MAY 12TH

@ 7.30pm IN THE VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE ROOM

Declarations of Office.         

All councillors signed the declaration of office, and completed the relevant forms.

 

021/15 to receive nominations for and to appoint a Chairman.

It was proposed by Cllr. Toft and seconded by Cllr. Glenn that Cllr. Pitt be appointed Chairman.

 

022/15 to receive nominations for and to appoint a Vice-Chairman

Cllr. Toft proposed Cllr. Glenn this was seconded by Cllr. Cropley

 

Public Forum No issues were raised. It was noted that the Council had new members.

 

023/15  Apologies were received from the Police.

 

024/15  The Minutes of the 2014 Annual Meeting were read, agreed and signed as being a true record.

 

025/15 Minutes of the March Meeting were read, agreed and signed as being a true record

 

026/15 Matters Arising from the March Meeting.

The Grit bins to be an Agenda item at the July meeting.

Cllr. Toft asked about the Emergency Plan

A third set of lights will be purchased for the Christmas tree lights, changes will need to be made to the wiring system..

 

027/15 There were no Matters for the Police.

029/15 Financial Matters

The Clerk produced the Annual Return to the meeting, the Chairman duly signed the Annual return, The External Audit has been notified for June 8th 2015

 

030/15 Training

It was agreed that the 3 new members should attend training at Kirton on June 24th 2015

 

031/15 Village Hall Anniversary

The Village Hall will celebrate its 50th Anniversary on June 2nd The Clerk and all councillors past and present were invited to attend. Cllr. Glenn will contact Mr. Ulyatt and Mrs Yates the retiring councillors.

 

032/15 Any Other Business

The Clerk was asked to write and thank the retiring Cllr’s for all their hard work on behalf of Fosdyke.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at approx. 8.45pm. The next meeting will be on Tuesday July 7th 2015
