17/26 CLERK and ADMIN SUPPORT REPORT
To receive a report on matters not on the agenda including:
Internal Audit – the request has been made to LALC
ICO Case IC-393673-L2F6 – to note the case is closed and the ICO has ruled in favour of the Parish Council
Footway Lights – the footway light charge for 2024/25 is £1174.98 This is a considerable saving on the previous year which was £3236.78.
Mobile – the change to Lebara is complete. The monthly charge is £5 per month.
Grass Cutting Scheme – an expression of interest has been made to join the scheme for this year.
Cemetery – no responses from phone calls or emails have been received.
- Highways updates
- Grit Bin – to consider buying a replacement grit bin
- Quickline – to consider options for wrapping the box including shrubbery or a design of our choice.
- Flag Raising – to agree that Ms Glenn will have the responsibility for raising and lowering flags on special occasions.
18/26 FINANCE
- To receive an update on financial matters and receive a bank reconciliation.
- To consider and approve the following invoices:
M Warr – salary for January - £362.40
C Glenn – salary for January - TBC
Walker Quinn – 4 months payroll fees - £96.00 (£16.00 VAT)
LALC – Clerk training August - £15.60 (£2.60 VAT)
Tesco Mobile – contract for December - £12.57 (DD)
- Garden Waste Bin – to confirm that the PC wishes to continue to subscribe to the BBC garden waste scheme on behalf of the Gardening Club.
19/26 POLICIES
To review and adopt the following policies for 2026:
- Health and Safety, General Communications, Publication Scheme, Grant Policy and Pre Approved Contractor Policy.
- Social Media and Electronic Communications - to consider the arrangements for the Facebook page
