25/16 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

25/17 TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST UNDER THE LOCALISM ACT 2011  

There were no declarations of interest.

25/18 DRAFT MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 6TH OF MAY 2025 TO BE APPROVED AND SIGNED BY THE CHAIRMAN.

 They were signed as a true copy. Proposed by Cllr M Houssain seconded by Cllr A Mowton.

25/19 MR OLDERSHAW LOCAL HIGHWAY CONCERNS  

Oldershaw's presented the council with a detailed explanation of how they would like to adopt Thompsons lane to create a private road with gate to further prevent future issues e.g. fly tipping and unsocial behaviour in the future , they will still keep a public access to footpath however they would like to have the support of FPC before they continue . MOPs raised some concerns along with Cllr M Houssain regarding access to riverbank and public access.

 Cllr C Cropley was happy to support the plan however Cllr M Houssain & Cllr A Mowton would like to review further therefor FPC are unable to fully support the decision.

25/20 AGAR FORM TO BE SIGNED AND ACCOUNTS AGREED BY COUNCILLORS

There was a variance on the accounts of £179.05, Clerk B Gratton believes this is due to some dates on the accounts have not crossed over correctly from the dates on scribe to our statement dates on bank accounts. there is a letter of variance from scribe who have advised this was due to a change of systems and is being investigated.

25/22 FINANCIAL MATTERS

25/23 SOCIAL MEDIA

Councillor Houssain reported that we had received 1,269 views and 184 followers.

25/24 CHARITY DONATIONS

There will be three charity donations this year, with £575 pounds going to All Saints Parish Church, Fozzie's and the village Hall. Gardening club have the Brown Bins x3 provided.

25/25 GRASS CUTTING

The Clerk  has had an email regarding cutting the grass along on the river bank by the marina after some discussion Cllr J Cantwell suggested that it should be down to either the drainage board or environmental agency they will be contacted to discuss this however the LCC map they have sent FPC regarding grass cutting has some mistakes on , they will be contacted to rectify this
