NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and elected Members are summoned to attend a meeting of Fosdyke Parish Council to be held at Fosdyke Village Hall, Old Main Rd, Fosdyke, Boston PE20 2BU on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 7.30 p.m.

 

Prior to the commencement of the meeting there will be a public forum for a maximum of 10 minutes when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council.

 

Due to Purdah reporting restrictions implemented and continuing until 4th July 2024, there will be no reports received from Councillors of Fosdyke Parish Council,Boston Borough Council, Lincolnshire County Council or Lincolnshire Police.

 

Note: Following the Public Forum there shall be no further input or interruption from members of the public or Borough & County Councillors unless relevant participation is required and requested by the Council.

AGENDA

1.         Apologies for Absence - To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the commencement of the meeting.

2.         To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on elected Members’ Register of Interests

3.         To approve as correct records the notes of the Annual Meeting of the Council held on 7th May 2024 and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes.

(All Councillors should note any discrepancies found within the minuets must be reported to the clerk no less than 5 working  days before the next meeting, for amendment , discrepancies WILL NOT be discussed in the meeting.)

4.         To note any updates from the Parish Clerk (tabled report)  

5.         To note general correspondence received since the last meeting (tabled report)

6.         To advise of the introduction of Council specific email addresses for elected Members and to note they will be published on the Council website and posted on the Parish notice Board.

13.       Internal Audit Report 2023-2024

To receive the report of the appointed independent Internal Auditor and accept (or otherwise) the findings within. Questions to the internal auditor may be asked by elected Members.

14.       Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) 2023/24

To note a request has been submitted to PKF Littlejohn (nationally appointed external auditors) for an extension until 31st July 2024 in respect of the submission of the 2023/24 AGAR to enable the Parish Council to receive the report of the Internal Auditor and finalise associated financial transactions and supporting paperwork.
