Denis Glenn awarded with Freedom of the Parish by Fosdyke Parish Council Chairman Alan Mowton

On 28th September, it was with great pleasure that the Chairman of Fosdyke Parish Council, Alan Mowton, awarded Denis Glenn the Honorary Freedom of the Parish.

The Freedom of the Parish is the highest honour a parish council can bestow.  It is rarely awarded and only to residents that have gone above and beyond for the community. Mr Glenn is a very worthy recipient.

Mr Glenn has been involved with the Parish since the late 1970s and served on the parish council for 40 years. He was Chairman of the Lincolnshire Association of Local Councils in 1994 and became President in 2003, serving until 2018. In addition, he has been involved with local parochial charities since the 1980s and continues to serve as a trustee.
